Holy Trinity School, under the direction of Art Director Mrs. Genevieve Haney, has received national recognition. The students in 7th Grade participated in the national “Made by Milk 2017 Carton Construction Contest” in which they were challenged to re-purpose the school’s milk cartons into a sports-themed creation. Their entry "Tournament of the Trinity Knights" is a seven-foot sculpture created from 1,086 milk cartons. The students chose to depict sword-fighting/fencing as their sport to coordinate with their English Language Arts and Social Studies curricula, which covered the Middle Ages. A $1,000 cash prize was awarded to the school and will be used to enhance the Art Program. The school community congratulates these students and their teacher on their accomplishment.
